Motability Scheme – Mobility Scooter Insurance
Many mobility scooter users may have their scooter provided through the Motability Scheme. If you’re entitled to the following, you may be eligible to join the Motability Scheme subject to certain conditions:
- Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of Child Disability Payment (Scotland)
- War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
What is the Motability Scheme?
Run by a nationwide charity, Motability support people with disabilities in achieving greater independence, through access to affordable, worry-free mobility.
