How can I get mobility scooter breakdown cover?

Mobility scooter breakdown cover can be added to your Blue Badge insurance policy. The breakdown service team aim to get to you within an hour if your mobility scooter or electric wheelchair breaks down.

How does the mobility scooter breakdown cover work?

The cost to rescue you after a breakdown is covered by your Blue Badge insurance policy, should you have chosen to include that option. Our claims team will send out a rescue vehicle to take you and your mobility scooter to your chosen destination within 20 miles. You can then arrange for your mobility scooter to be fixed by contacting your local retailer.

The breakdown claims team are there to make sure you get to your destination safely, they are not a roadside repair team. So you can rest assured that you and your mobility scooter will be taken back safely.
